Dr. Kičić graduated from Department of Physics, Faculty of Science at University of Zagreb on applications of biomagnetism in medical diagnostics.
He earned his Ph.D. degree from Helsinki University of Technology (nowadays Aalto University) on combined methods for noninvasive functional brain imaging. During his scientific career he was interested in clinical aspects of plasticity of human somato-motor nervous system.
For a number of years, as an expert in clinical neuroscience, dr. Kičić worked also as a consultant for high-tech companies involved in development and implementation of technology and methodology for non-invasive neurodiagnostics. With growing experience in biotechnology, his focus shifts towards commercial aspects of scientific research and he develops a career in management.
In healthcare company Elekta Oy (EKTA-B.ST) dr. Kičić manages an international R&D team capable of executing variety of projects financed e.g. by government funding agencies or private investors and partners. Experience with industrial and technological market in Croatia dr. Kičić gained as an Offset Business Development Manager for Finnish company Patria Land Systems.
During his career he developed expertise and competences in strategic leadership, financial structuring, project management and general business development.
His professional education he upgraded with an Executive MBA degree from Aalto Executive Education business management school in Helsinki and Singapore.
