Ms. Spivak is founder and principal of Profile Communications Corp. a reputation management communications consultancy serving clients across North America, Europe and South Africa.
She is one of three representatives of Canada to a Council for the Government of the Republic of Croatia for Croatians living in the diaspora and serves as Chair of the Investment Committee.
In 2015 Caroline founded the Croatian Women’s Network with the goal of connecting, celebrating and championing women of Croatian descent. The network conferred the inaugural Croatian Women of Influence and Future Leaders Awards on International Women’s Day in Zagreb, Croatia in 2016.
Caroline is the newly-elected representative of Canada to the Croatian World Congress, a United Nations recognized NGO.
Ljuba is Senior Legal Counsel at the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) Legal Services and Strategic Policy division where she has worked on numerous cases involving electricity and gas rates; mergers, acquisitions and amalgamations among electricity companies; new electricity transmission and gas pipelines and several policy initiatives including Smart Grid, Green Energy and, most recently, Corporate Governance and Cap & Trade which launches in Ontario (Canada) in January 2017.
Prior to her career at the OEB Ljuba worked as in-house counsel for some of the largest electricity transmission and distribution companies in North America.
Ljuba holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees and has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1998.
She is an executive member of the Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP), the Croatian Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Alma Matris Croatia Alumni (AMCA – Toronto chapter). She is also former board member of AMCA and the Croatian Canadian Library as well as charities devoted to children with special needs.
